Happy 2012!

We had a very low key

New Years

we stayed home 

invited are parents over to ring in the new year.

We had dinner and played apples to apples 

I was the apples to apples champ for the night

our new years photo not the best picture but it works

Khloe pulled out her chairs and wanted grandpa to sit and do this and that you name it Grandpa would do anything that Khloe asks him.

 This is my Favorite picture and boo it wont come out straight so side ways will have to work

Khloe was a trooper and managed to stay awake through a game of apples to apples

 Grandma and Khloe passed out hats blowers and fun necklices

Khloe had a blast dressing up with all the fun stuff 

she could not figure out how to make the blowers make noise so it was funny watching her

She kept taking them over for grandpa to blow on

Tuesday Beauty product must haves

 I am so excited to share with you my beauty tips and tricks  

Every Tuesday 

I'll be posting something about beauty

Daily I use a facial Hydra Cleanse from pharmagel Pharmagel Hydra Cleanse Extra Gentle

followed by a toner Alpha Ceuticals Toner from Beauty for all seasons

 

Then I use Pharmagel Glyco-8 a facial firming cream I have also used the DN24 Hydracreme

 twice a week

I do a deep clean your skin will feel and look just like you got a facial but with out the price

A friend that does my eyebrows told me this trick and I love it

you will need 

Up & up facial buff sponges or what ever brand but they are 12 for $1.50 cant beat that

 

Facial scrub you can use what you have but I really like the Target Up&UP brand blackhead facial scrub with salicylic acid. it work great.

Cut a sponge in half get it damp and lather up your sponge with lots of scrub and work in a circle circular motion while moving around your face keep adding scrub to your sponge it will take a lot then rinse your face off with a warm wash cloth and apply toner to close up all those pores then apply a moisturizer. There you have it at home facial.

for the new year is to have a monthly meal plan and post the weekly meal plan every Sunday evening.

I will talk more about all my reasons for doing this later on in the week.

 

My main Goal is to keep it quick, easy, fresh, healthy.

Stir Fry With, Rice, Salad

Adobo Chicken, Rice, Salad, Veg

Christmas wrap up

It's been so long since I have blogged. there are a few Christmas things that I want to get down before I forget. I have been wanting to do a photo wall for awhile now so a week before Christmas I scrambled and got it done. Second khloe christmas activities. Third the Christmas after mess. I'm so happy to have are tree down and everything put back in the Christmas box now I need to get my home put back together. Fourth I have started putting up our valentines wall ya it's a little early but we want to enjoy it. I'm planning on wrapping it up tomorrow I can't wait to show you all how it turns out. 5th khloe has been into wearing her coat around the house saying she,shopping such a girl. Happy new year hope you have a wonderful weekend

Turkey Pot Pie

Have leftover turkey from Christmas dinner. One of my go to meals that is so easy is pot pie. I usually make chicken pot pie but since we just had christmas and had plenty leftovers Turkey We had turkey pot pie for dinner. You will need a bag of mixed vegetables a box of piecrust can of cream chicken soup a cube of chicken bullion 2 cups of cooked shredded turkey or chicken mix all ingredients except for the pie crust together place the pie crust in a pie plate place all ingredients in the pie crust and put the other crust on top and pinch the two crest together around the edges bake at 375 for hour and 45 minutes. What do you make with your holiday leftovers?

Salt Dough

Hand print ordainment

1 cup flour 2 cups salt 1 cup water red food coloring
Combine flour and salt and slowly add the water. You may not need all of the water. I then separated the dough into two equal parts and colored one part with red food coloring. Make desired ornament & microwave in 30 second intervals for a total of 2-3 minutes. One of our buttons melted & ours didn't need 2-3 minutes so be careful & try 30 seconds at a time. I like that you don't have to wait days for them to dry out.

The Man In the Red Sute

This last weekend we went to see Santa..

Last year Khloe wanted nothing to do with Santa but this year she thinks is awesome 

When ever we say anything about santa she says See him

 We believe in Santa but our main focus at our house is Jesus

Last weekend a church around us had a live nativity seen that I took her too she stood there for 45min  in shock ever since then she has been singing happy birthday Jesus and asking to go back to the tivity.
